As we face the challenges of the new normal, the school will be adopting the following for SY 2020-2021.
There will be no face to face/physical learning until it is really safe for our learners, teachers and staff to go to school. Our learners will be learning from home as facilitated by their teachers and guided by their parents. We value the safety of our learners as we advocate and promote continuity of education.
Our learners will learn via online thru their scheduled virtual classes with their teachers and with the help of the school’s learning management system (GENYO) and another LMS which is in the process of subscription by the school. There will be lessons that the learners can also access anytime.
Our learners can also learn via offline thru the learning modules and other printed learning kits that will be provided by the teachers and will be sent to the learner’s home.
The school will still utilize textbooks in some learning areas as their reference in accomplishing the learning competencies.
Parents and teachers are collaborators in the education of our learners. As the learners are learning from home, the teachers will need the support of the parents. Teachers will be available for consultations from the parents anytime during the day. The school also needs the utmost cooperation and open communication from the parents.
Enrollment for the Elementary Department will start on JUNE 22, 2020. Links for online enrollment and procedures will be posted on our social media account (Meycauayan College FB Page) before the enrollment.
Furthermore, in consideration with the impact that the pandemic has brought, the school will have NO INCREASES in school fees but instead will have REDUCTION in our school fees as we have reviewed and make adjustments on our miscellaneous fees.
