MC highlights 96 years of excellence and service in virtual founding anniversary celebration

MCians gathered online last February 8-11, 2021 to commemorate Meycauayan College’s 96th founding anniversary with its theme “MC at 96 — Moving Towards a Century of Service and Excellence: Making a Commitment for A Continuous Access to Relevant Educational Services”.

The week-long virtual event was jampacked with fun activities, competitions, webinars and workshops, a podcast session conducted by the professional student organizations of the school, and online tributes of the Mr. and Ms. MC pageant presented in each academic department (elementary, senior high school, and college).

What’s more, the BBMCian Quarantine Edition casts are back with a new advocacy called Limitless: A Virtual Safe Place of MCians. The event which launched on Wednesday (February 10) features MCian ambassadress Karlene Mae Morante and her former housemates going online every Friday Night for a kamustahan session where all MCians can chill, share their woes and their stories, give advice, and keep each other posted on the latest and important issues.

Closing day ended with a bang as it highlighted its traditional recognition of loyal and #TatakMC trademark personnel in the Dangal ng MC event, followed by two college interorganizational competitions such as MCinema Fest headed by The College Chronicle (TCC) and MC Zoom Sync Up Challenge headed by the Student Services Office (SSO), showing all that despite the hard times, Meycauayan College truly keeps it up! Continuously delivering more years of commitment excellence and dedication to service.
